LET’S DISCOVER THE ITALIAN ICON “VESPA”, DRINKING A FANTASTIC GRAPPA

The tour starts with the visit of the spirit factory. The liqueur producer has an ancient history because they make grappas for over 100 years. After a short introduction to the history of the company, from its beginnings to today, enriched by numerous documents that recount its life, through the labels, bottles and recipes carefully preserved in the museum inside the company premises, the tour continues in the production area, where it will be possible to get to know all the production processes regarding the various products: from the production of the infusions to the bottling and labelling processes, all exclusively by hand, highlighting their artisanal character, symbol and strength of the company.

The visit ends with tasting of the products, all accompanied by local confectionary products.

To complete the tour, we will visit the amazing Piaggio Museum, inaugurated in March 2000 and occupies the 3,000 square meters of the company’s former tool-shop in one of the oldest and most characteristic part of the industrial complex in Pontedera, where Piaggio started its production. The Museum was created to preserve and highlight the history of Piaggio and through it the development of Italian industry, economy and society by exhibiting a lot of the company’s best known, most representative products (a large part is dedicated to special examples of Vespa) and through the documents and images of its extensive archive.
