COME BACK IN THE MIDDLE AGE AND DISCOVER AN ARTISANAL PASTA FACTORY

In a beautiful village on the top of the hill, there is this family-run pasta factory, which keeps the artisanal tradition of making pasta. The village has also a spectacular example of medieval castle, which is perfectly conserved and where you can have a 360 degrees view on the surrounding valley.

The tour starts with the visit of the pasta factory, where you can learn how the family makes the pasta, which is famous all around the world thanks to the artisanal and traditional production methods and the strict attention to the raw materials and the quality.

The tour continues with the visit of the Castle. The Castle was very important during the Middle Age and Renaissance period thanks to its strategic position on the top of the hills, where people can control the surrounding area to prevent any enemies’ attacks. The Castle is nowadays an amazing example of medieval architecture with its fortified walls, the beautiful rooms, the prisons….

To complete our tour, you can enjoy a Tuscan happy hour, tasting local products such as prosciutto, salami, cheeses and, of course, a glass of Sangiovese wine.
